 Lion Head Park Hillside Tail

The landscape planing of Lion Head Hill Park is really confertable. Scenic hiking trails are easy to walk and comfortable. The hill is not high, it's very suitable for elders who like to appriciate the senery and also suitable for children. When is the best time arrive there? In summer the best time is after 4:00 in  the afternoon, and in close to winter or in winter the best time is arond 3:30. You can meet  sunset down from the coast  and the weather is not hot. Some friends also go there to greet sunrise in the morning.

As it was a military control zone in the early day, some military fortreeses still stayed there. AS ordinary were not allowed to enter in the past, the natural environment is well preserved. After passing the cool woods alone the trail, approach the coast along the way, we can enjoy the scenery of the caost and fishing port.

Shuang-zhutai Islands/Twin Candlestick Island ,Islets

In addition to the two rocks looks like candlesticks with beatiful scenery of Shuang-zhutai Islands/ Twin Candlestick Islands, a legend story is beautiful ,also. There was a woman whose husband disappeared after went fishing to sea. The woman always believed her husband will come back one day, so she waited for her husband to return on the coast every day. She  still can't wait for her husband to return day to day.Then, she turned into a rock and kept waiting. Her husband finally came home one day, but wife is became a rock. The husband  cried and was acompanying his wife in the coast everyday. Finally, he  turned into the rock by his wife side. They are  acompanying each other evryday untill now.

Besides the weathered rocky coast, there is also a mysterious beach near by Shuang-zhutai Islands/ Twin Candlestick Islands. If you would like to the mysterious beach, must be pay attention to the high tide and law tide times will be safe. We didn't go to the myserious beach as we can't cach the time and my left eye was injured before and had not recovered at that time. I will go to the mysterious beach next time. The Shuang-zhutai Island/ Double Candlestick Island is a worth place to vist and vist angain.

Cute Russian girl we met on that day

That's a beatiful day and beatiful scenery there. We met a cute little girl on that day. The little girl was not afraid of strangers. Afer chated, I known she come from Russia and went there with her mother. Western parents always exercise child's body, so they often take their childern go outsid to contact with nature, some times hiking, somtimes fishing or sporting. 

As my before trading job, I sometimes heard my college tald to me Russians are good at fighting, don't let them feel loose or you can't get your deal. Accually, I never care about that. I check from Wikipedia that Russia is a multi-ethnic country, in severe cold , foreign people often invade and want to occupye their territory. Russians are not to like war, as they have no choise to train themselves for only protect their family even country. Eastern shouldn't talk about the the joke of Russians are good fighting. I think we are sorry about that. We sould repect every people from any country and treat every people friendly. That's our Taiwanes spirit and coultrue.

Bus Info

If you go to the Jinshan Lutos Garden first like us , you can take bus No. 1815 from Huang Xi bridge bus step (every 20 minutes a bus).

Juerney time is about 3 minutes. Get off at Haungang Road Stetion, then walk to Lion Head Park Hillside Tail around 5 minutes.

The second way, you can from Tamsui MRT station to take Taiwan Hao Xing Bus  No.716 to Jinshan Visitor Center Station. After get off the bus, should walk 3~5 minutes to Lion Head Park Hillside Tail.
